The Bosnian Genocide took place in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Because of the genocide, rather than being a Bosnian, civilians were Serbs, Croats, or Bosniaks. With the Bosnians being categorized, the tendency to grow bitter or see others, not of the same race or religion, differently, was intensified . Of the three ethnicities, Serbians who were led by Slobodan Milosevic conveyed the discrimination the most.
